The future of Amateur Radio in space depends on the involvement of radio amateurs world wide and AMSAT is the future of Amateur Radio. There is a significant need to develop new satellites as well as train new engineers to contribute to future technologies. The job falls upon the AMSAT volunteer corps, who have provided countless hours in this endeavour.

To get started, please take the following steps:

  1. Complete the Volunteer Survey, which will help AMSAT match your skills to current needs
  2. Read "About the Volunteer Reporting System" and create a VRS account
  3. Record Your Time using VRS
