ShindaiSat (Ginrei)

ShindaiSat, aka Ginrei, is a 300x300x350mm micro satellite, launched 27 Feb 2014 at 1807 UTC from the Yoshinobu Launch Complex at the Tanegashima Space Center aboard an H-IIA-202 launch vehicle.

ShindaiSat is a project of the Shinshu University, Wakasato, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. This satellite is an educational / experimental satellite. The primary use of the satellite is to provide experiments in using visible light as a means of long distance communications via a series of light emitting diodes.
