After your application has been accepted and approved, you will receive a reply email instructing you to make your payment. You may then go online to the AMSAT Online Store, http://www.amsat.org and make your payment. Your certificate will then be sent to you using the shipping address you used with the online payment.

Those without scanners may still send the Xerox copies of their QSL cards to the Director of Awards and Contests and then pay for the awards online after they are accepted.

Please note: eQSL cards are not valid for AMSAT or ARRL awards. Email confirmations of a QSO is also not acceptable.

 Satellite Communicators' Club

Make one satellite contact. Send the report of your contact, plus $1.00 for AMSAT members or $2.00 for non-members. Please include 2 units of postage from the US to your location to cover the cost of mailing. (If you pay for your award through the store this will be added to your total.) Send your application to the AMSAT-NA Director of Awards and Contests.


Field Day

Each year the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) sponsors Field Day as an emergency preparedness exercise. The event takes place during a during a 24-hour period on the fourth weekend of June. AMSAT promotes its own version of Field Day for operation via the HAMSATS, held concurrently with the ARRL event.

Worked All Continents Award (WAC)

Make one satellite contact with any station on each of the six continents.DXCC Award with Satellite EndorsementMake one satellite contact with any station in 100 different DXCC countries.

Worked All States Award

Make one satellite contact with any station in each of the 50 states.

VHF/UHF Century Club Award

Make one satellite contact with any station in 100 different grid squares. Endorsements for each additional 25 grid squares.
