OrbiTrack is an artificial satellite tracking program for the Macintosh. It will calculate look angles to selected satellites, plot current satellite positions on a world map and display the visible passage of a satellite against background stars (either within the program itself or via a data file that can be read into the Voyager program). Some knowledge of satellite orbits is required to make good use of the program. New orbital element sets are available via anonymous ftp from: archive.afit.af.mil/pub/space kilroy.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/space/elements/molczan kilroy.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/space/elements/satelem OrbiTrack requires System version 4.1 or later. It can run on any Macintosh computer provided it has 128K ROMs or greater. An optimized version of the program that makes use of the 68881/68882 fpu is also included, and runs approximately 50 times faster than the standard version.
