Steve's site allows those without Pacsat groundstations the ability to explore the world of digital satellite communications on the Internet's World Wide Web. Pacsat communications differs in many ways from terrestrial packet radio communications. One of the ways in which they differ is that Pacsat satellites are routinely used to pass image and software files between pacsat groundstations, in addition to text (e-mail) messages. Steve recently added the capability of downloading images that have been uploaded to KO-23 and KO-25 from his World Wide Web Site. The images that are available are those that have been uploaded by other Amateurs around the world. Many of these images are interesting as they provide a look into the shacks and lives of those active on Amateur Satellites. To see the directory listing of images, select either KO-23 or KO-25 from the home page (http://gndstn.sp.nps.navy.mil) and you will see the link to the image directory. Steve is currently working on making images from KO-23 and KO-25's CCD Earth imaging cameras available through his Web site. Questions or suggestions regarding Steve's site may be directed directly to him at his e-mail address: srbible@cs.nps.navy.mil. This site carries a wealth of information on the Space Shuttle, including a link that provides images from NASA Television that are updated every few minutes during active Shuttle missions. * OSCAR STATUS REPORT * ======================= UoSAT-OSCAR-11: Normal ASCII/binary telemetry and ASCII news [145.826 MHz].
