Simple solution:
Set your radio to 145.800
Listen on Echolink etc
and make believe the sound is coming from the radio.
I listened in using EchoMac here in the office at the University of
Manchester and the audio was very clear - I was also watching the ISS
ground track on Gsat/Predict to see where ISS actually was.
