The key word is "Future". Plans are to fly a certified FT-100D to ISS.
The ARISS project and selection committee has received some possible
experiments but as yet, none have been selected since the radio is not
available. The frequency shown on the display is what ever happened to
be on the radio when the photo was taken. No "official" frequencies have
been designated for ISS operations on the HF bands.

Subject: [sarex] Yeasu FT-100 on ISS
Hello All
I have a look into the document 'Dayton 2006.pdf' on page 7. Under the
title "Future & External ISS Hardware Deployments" is a picture of a
Yeasu FT-100 with the QRG 21.295 MHz on display. Is this an official
frequency for future HF-experiments ? What kind of HF-experiments will
be on ISS in the future ? On which bands ? 10m and 15m ? Are there
any infos available yet ?
Regards, 73
