Hello all,
Briar Hill Primary School students will be asking Bill McArthur a series
of questions as the ISS passes over Australia at 09:00 utc on the 31st
of March. (07:30 pm SA summer time) (08:00 pm Vic.summer time) Downlink
Frq. will be 145.800 MHz. as usual and should be readable in the
southern states
This is a low pass to the South of the telebridge ground station in
South Australia and contact with the ISS is expected to last around
eight minutes before LOS. Those in the footprint are invited to listen in.
Briar Hill School submitted their application for the contact with the
ISS to ARISS in 2005. The school is located north east of Melbourne and
the NERG (North East Radio Group) will be setting up the equipment at
the school for the event. The contact will be telebridged through
Tony, VK5ZAI in Kingston SE
