Subject: ISScrossband tips for SAREX?

Maybe also intresting for SAREX?

Hello All,

There are a few things what you should know to operate the ISS repeater.
Do not use too loud mic-modulation otherwise the repeater goes off for a few
The squelch level in the ISS repeater is at a high level so it requeres to put
a strong -
signal on the TX (70cm) uplink to ISS.
The best way to operate the repeater useing a 70cm yagi with elevation rotor.
When you do not have an elevation rotor you can trie to mount it with 30
elevation (works fine here!).

And of course doppler correction is very important.

Good luck and make some nice audio recordings in your area pse send to
