NASA ANNOUNCES LIVE TV COVERAGE FOR SPACEWALK
The two crewmembers aboard the International Space Station are venturing outside for a spacewalk. NASA TV is carrying the event live beginning at midnight EST, March 27. Hatch opening is expected at about 1:25 a.m. EST, March 28.
The Expedition 10 crew, Astronaut Leroy Chiao and Cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov, will spend nearly six hours outside the Station. They will prepare for the arrival of Europe's Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) resupply ship. They will install three communications antennas for the ATV and a GPS antenna. Sharipov will manually deploy a Russian experiment, tossing a small science satellite called "Nanosatellite" into orbit.

NASA TV is available on the Web and via satellite in the continental U.S. on AMC-6, Transponder 9C, C-Band, at 72 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. In Alaska and Hawaii, it's available on AMC-7, Transponder 18C, C-Band, at 137 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 4060.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz.
