* Progress 16 Departure Preps Continue*
Aboard the International Space Station, the Expedition 10 crew continued
Tuesday to prepare for the undocking of an unpiloted cargo ship.

The ISS Progress 16, which will be filled with unneeded items from the
Station, is slated to undock from the aft end of the Zvezda Service
Module at 10:05 a.m. CST (1605 GMT) Sunday. After leaving the Space
Station, the Progress will be commanded to burn up harmlessly in Earth's
atmosphere.

Tuesday's activities included the transfer of liquid waste from Zvezda
to the Progress. Also, flight controllers used oxygen from the Progress'
tanks to repressurize the Station and to reduce the Progress to desired
mass for undocking.

A new cargo ship, Progress 17, will launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome in
Kazakhstan on Monday and arrive at the Station on March 2.
