* Space Station Crew Prepares for Spacewalk*
The Expedition 10 crew spent time Thursday preparing for an upcoming
spacewalk at the International Space Station. The crew connected
telemetry hardware for the software for an experiment they will install
on the exterior of the Space Station's Zvezda Service Module. The
experiment, called Rokviss, will test a prototype for robotic
manipulator hardware that could assist in future ISS assembly work. The
spacewalk is slated to take place Jan. 26.
In other activities, the crew set up computers following software
upgrades and performed routine maintenance on the Station's exercise
equipment.
The crew also took time out of its schedule Thursday to talk to students
in Commander Leroy Chiao's hometown, Danville, Calif.
