* Expedition 9 Works With ISS Experiments, Systems*
The Expedition 9 crew completed a routine workday Wednesday aboard the
International Space Station. The crew continued to pursue Station
objectives. Commander Gennady Padalka had a session with a Russian
biomedical experiment that is studying the effects of space flight on
the human body. He also worked with a Russian plant experiment.
NASA ISS Science Officer Mike Fincke worked on several ISS systems. He
installed new parts in the Air Revitalization rack in the U.S. Destiny
Laboratory. He also inspected portable emergency equipment on the Space
Station.
Both crewmembers prepared for their return to Earth next month.
