Scott,
Living near DC, it is very difficult to get in to the ISS packet relay with only
5W. I took a Kenwood D7 and Arrow antenna out to Hawaii with me a couple of
years ago thinking I would have a chance for a real two-way conversation via
ISS. Unfortunately, on pass after pass, all I saw were my own packets coming
back down.
Guess if I make a return trip I'll need to drop a message in here to try and
schedule a contact.
