* Space Station Crew Loads Unneeded Items in to Progress*
On the 35th anniversary of humankind's first steps on the moon
<http://www.nasa.gov/vision/space/features/apollo11_35th.html>,
Expedition 9 Commander Gennady Padalka and NASA ISS Science Officer Mike
Fincke have passed the halfway mark of their tour of duty on the
International Space Station.

They transferred trash from the orbital outpost to the ISS Progress 14
cargo ship on Tuesday. The Progress is scheduled to undock from the
Station on July 30 and re-enter the Earth's atmosphere where it will
burn up. Its departure will set the stage for the arrival of Progress
15, which will deliver supplies and equipment in mid-August.

In other activities, the crew also used oxygen from Progress 14 to
repressurize the Station's atmosphere and charged batteries for the U.S.
spacesuits. The crewmembers also monitored Station systems and
experiments and conducted their daily exercise regimen.
