Hello group,
I was reading the text of the tribute message broadcast by Astronaut Mike
Fincke and cosmonaut Gennady Padalka from the ISS. I am intrigued - surely
NASA hasn't used valuable payload space to send a real, brass ship's bell up
into space ?? or is it an electronic bell ?
> "As the ninth expedition to the International Space Station,
> and in honor of President Ronald Reagan, our 40th president,
> we remember him on behalf of all of NASA with 40 chimes of
> the ISS's ship's bell.
