*CREW LOADS CARGO SHIP
*Aboard the International Space Station, the Expedition 9 crew prepared
Wednesday for the departure of the Progress
</station/assembly/elements/progress/index.html> 13 cargo ship.
Commander Gennady Padalka and NASA ISS Science Officer Mike Fincke
loaded trash and other unneeded items.
ISS Progress 13 is slated to undock from the Station at 4:17 a.m. CDT
(0917 GMT) May 24. Then, Russian flight controllers will command the
cargo vessel to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere to burn up.
A new cargo spacecraft, Progress 14, will launch from Baikonur
Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on May 25. It will deliver its load of supplies
and equipment to the ISS May 27.
The crew also oversaw science operations and routine maintenance on the
orbital outpost.
