ARISS Packet Notice

Please note that prior to the Saint-Mard, France school contact the
packet station will be switched off to avoid any possible interference
to the QSO. The astronauts should switch the packet station back on
after the contact. However, the switch over will most likely not be
immediate. So please be patient if packet service does not immediately

Thank you & 73,

ARISS is an international educational outreach program comprised of
members from each of the countries participating in the International
Space Station. ARISS offers an opportunity for students around the
world to experience the excitement of Amateur Radio by talking directly
with crewmembers on-board the International Space Station. Teachers,
parents and communities experience, first hand, how Amateur Radio and
crew members on ISS can energize youngsters' interest in science,
technology, and learning. Further information on the ARISS programme
is available on the website http://www.rac.ca/ariss
