Hi,
The following unproto paths will work with the ISS TNC. I have determined
this by experimentation, and confirmed it by sending numerous packets.
Set "Send" to "RS0ISS-11" via <nothing>
Returned packet from the ISS has the structure "RS0ISS,RS0ISS-1*,SGATE-11"
(generated by the ISS TNC)
Setting SGATE-11 as an alias in forwarding ground stations should see these
packets get to FINDU.
Send to "RS0ISS-1" or "RS0ISS-2" via <nothing>
Returned packet from the ISS has the form "RS0ISS, RS0ISS-1*"
Below are some examples record of the air:
ZL2TE has also tried this with success. We continue to experiment down
here. I know that this is not how the ISS TNC is "supposed" to work, but
this *IS* how it works at present. Setting your path this way means that
your packets will be digipeated.
Using the recommended paths of APRS via RS0ISS-4,WIDE,SGATE (or various
variations) does not work..
Good luck
