Crew Performs Session with FOOT Experiment
The Expedition Six crew tackled U.S. and Russian experiments during its
workday Wednesday. Commander Ken Bowersox performed another 12-hour
session of the Foot/Ground Reaction Forces During Spaceflight, or FOOT,
experiment. FOOT is studying muscle and bone loss in the human body,
especially in the lower half, during space flight. Also on the science
front, Flight Engineer Nikolai Budarin conducted the first run of a
Russian plasma crystal experiment.

In other activities, the crew fielded questions from students at NASA's
Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and conducted an emergency
depressurization drill.
