[sarex] Sat / ISS listening Equipment

Greetings,

I have made several atempts at listening to sats before on field day and 
have never successfully done so. What sort of antenna/radio combo could be 
purchased/constructed on a low budget? To start out im only interested in 
listening. and oviously ill need a TNC for the packet side, where could i 
find one for sale inexpencive?
