Well I finally did it.  Coming out of McDonalds heading to the I-5 I
heard Susan call CQ through all of the city intermod.  It floored me
when she came back to my call on just a quarter wave whip!  Did anyone
by any chance record the May 9 1723Z pass?  Otherwise I hope to make it
again sometime time with a recorder running!  What a thrill...
