On the DSP-12 TNC you must type "CONV" instead of "K"
at the command prompt (CMD:) to switch from command
mode to converse mode. Typing "K" at the command prompt
works for most of the TAPR2 clones, but it will not work with
the DSP-12 unless the firmware has been modified.
