Hi,
What's flying now on ISS is only the first in a series of ever more
versatile station configurations planned for ARISS. UHF will follow in due
course, then capabilities for at least some of the HF amateur-satellite
service allocations are expected to follow in a few years' time. The idea
is to give the crew as much flexibility to use and enjoy amateur radio as
possible. Check out the ARISS web pages (accessible through www.amsat.org)
for more information.
73, Ray
