RE: Re: [amsat-bb] ISS silence

The crew had been docking and updocking TM31 to change ports - so I would
think they would turn off all RF com links - I have a PacComm and have
been trying for the last 3 days to "over load" it - C to NOCALL - digi at the same
time ETC - so far its still-a-running

So, let's sum this up.

The last packet that was igated to ariss.net was from IT9GSV, I'm
calculating now that would have been somewhere around 15:30 UTC on the
17th. The one we see here is stamped 15:24:31.

By the timestamps on this data, we also see UIs from F9TL, F6HDW and
DB3WH (who hit it twice with blank packets 24 sec apart).

We also see S57NML,F1EUS and DG0LEO, all trying to CONNECT to the TNC,
while it's trying to get rid of connections to F1FB and F1AFZ. F1AZY
already has a connection digied to F9XG.

How nice.

Then there's a twenty minute gap in the data, and afterwards the TNC is
now sending UIs to CQ four times a second.

Francisco, could you tell us what kind of data was in the gap, and how
much error there might be in your timestamps? I'm assuming they're UTC.

"Experiencing some trouble..." yeah, I'll say it was. I wonder how many
of these EU users are using the SV1AGW packet soundcard stuff for
Windows and just couldn't figure out how to send a <UI>?

<sigh>
