Re: iss pass 2212z

Hello to All,
Happy Eastern!

-I finally made two digis yesterday on two different passes, completely alone
on the frequency, so I could play freely. My position is FY96.I am using Nova Dos
for
sat prediction and tuning / tracking and ran 50 W at first. The initial signal
into my
AO10 Cushcraft and TS 790A came out to be very poor and completely detuned so
that my KamPlus V8.2 could not decode the signal with 54 reading on meter so I
went
to manual tuning and ISS signal came up to 59-40, full-scale on the meter.
Coming to
the point, is that the Doppler on a overhead pass, 75 deg elev., in my
observations
yesterday evening, should have been between +- 3.5 at start according to the
Nova, was
< then 2.5 to obtain full scale reading on the meter. I have my KamPlus
connected to the
ACC socket. As I am still retraining how to handle the reception and the setup,
next time
I will record the ISS reply
Tks Bob for your hand.
Have a nice Day
