Re: RE: Mir heard in OZ



Hi Doug,

It sure sounds to me like someone trying to connect and is most likely a
ground station as it is fairly unlikely that MIR would be trying to connect
especially with such short breaks between attempts.

I know of two people in Sydney who have spoken to MIR on voice, one of them
twice.

George VK2WEL spoke to them yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) Sydney time and
again this afternoon (around 0530Z).

Grant VK2TU also spoke to them this afternoon on the same pass.

I tried on the 0700Z pass but to no avail.
