Thank you to all that answer my question.  For those that asked, I am
running 5 watt HT into a Discone antenna.  I might just need more power
output.  The MFJ has MONITOR ON as a defult.  There was one person that said
that digipeating was NOT allowed.  Please correct me if I am wrong, but I
thought that unproto digipeating is the preffered method.
