 Dave,

Looking again at your compared images I couldn't help notice a moire like
banding in the shots.
Check and see to be sure you are not using any filtering ie: Noise
reduction, SSTV noise filters
ect. they can tend to lower resolution in the pics. The lack of dot pixel
noise indicates a good recieves sig but the wavy noise in the picture to be
process.
