I heard it . . . I heard it . . . I heard it! YAHOO!
And that was exactly what I yelled too -- YAHOO!
Using an Yaseu FT-8500 dual bander with 1/4 wave antenna while mobile on my
way to work this a.m. I heard the Sputnik's 5 beeps and three announcements
at 7:58 thru 8:03 monitoring 145.815. Sergio's son's announcement in French
was the clearest of the three but was scratchy at times due to my mobility
and no doppler corrections.
Again -- YAHOO!
