 Funny you mention this, I had a Wired hub that generated  a very strong 
birdie on 145800. I used to pull the plug on it to work 145800 or there 
abouts. I tried several different hubs from different manufactures all had 
the same problem. I  finally  switched to a 2.4 gig hybrid system and my 
birdie problems were over. I now use a Linksys 2.4 gig 54mbps hybrid and 
have no problems, even while receiving  mode S...
