Eric,

The moon (and sun!) are sufficiently massive that you can't make the same
simplifying approximations.  Many programs such as ITrack, SATPC32, Nova,
Trak-SM, etc, all have the capability to generate the required data using
different algorithms which do not require updating.  At one time I saw a
program which would generate pseudo-Keps which were good for a few days, but
I am not certain if that still exists somewhere.
