What I did for the pass I captured was I set up a script to fire up an 
audio recorder a couple of minutes before the pass started, and 
configured the recorder to stop after 15 minutes (to make sure I really 
got the end).

I plan on leaving the laptop and transceiver set up like this tomorrow, 
because I'll be too busy to keep an eye on it.
