I'll be listening. That is a good event, Ken - I worked it two years ago. Made one of my most memorable sets of contacts there: THREE GENERATIONS of hams making their first sat contacts with me. A high school student, who just received his license, and this was his VERY FIRST contact ever, his dad, and grandfather...all successfully hitting AO-51 and SO-50 that morning.

If your in SoCA but cannot make it to Santa Barbara festivities this SUNDAY, I'll be demo'ing AO-51 in Tarzana this SATURDAY. Looks like the 7:56am local time pass will be accessible for us. Afterwards, I am giving my "How to Work Amateur Satellites with your HT" presentation. Carrows Restaurant, 18355 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana, CA. Call me at 909-241-7666. If you attend and tell me you're a participant here, I'll "help" with your breakfast bill!
