There is no present requirement for the use of licensed
callsigns on the satellites. I wish I had learned than more
than a week month before launch. That is why PCSAT-1 always
comes up with the W3ADO-1 callsign. And we have to upload the
PCSAT-1 callsign after every reset.
That said, however, they are required to abide by all of the
other requirements of the Amateur Satellite Service.
And I am all for keeping it that way.
