I am just startiing to experiment with DSTAR protocol on VHF terrestrial contact. Is it posssible to use satellite eg: AO-27  using UHF to 
VHF downconverter to be able to received the "DSTAR" data UHF downlink this way? It will not be possible to have full duplex but as far i 
will be able to decoded the downlink it will be a first step.
