Don't run as root except for system administration tasks.

Predict is looking up your home directory to create its .predict
directory. Same mechanism as ~username to identify a home
directory. If the home directory doesn't exist, this will fail and
predict will bomb out.

I've run predict on a Gumstix embedded Linux board.
Which has more CPU and memory than the first computer
I ever ran Linux on. :-)
