Thank you, Robert, and to all that will help perpetuate this event.
This could and WILL become one of the high points of ALL amateur 
radio activity worldwide......

I encourage all that have the capability to become a participant in 
its inauguration, even if just to listen.

Keep good track of your activity.  And after the activity on those 
days it would be very nice for someone to collect those activities 
for posterity....

The builders and launchers of Oscar 1 deserve the remembrance.
It was done mostly with perseverance, and certainly a few dollars, 
but nothing in comparison to what it seemingly takes, the thousands 
of dollars to keep it going today...
