It must be better over here in the United States. From Emeryville, CA
I managed to get a couple of packets digipeated from PCSAT using only
my TH-D7AG fed into the mag mount vertical (a short one at that) on top
of my car. I was shocked that it actually worked with only 5w into an
omni antenna. For this test I had a 2 minute beacon interval.
