We have the same thing here in the states on the FM sats.  I use them
in "contest mode", if you will: a callsign and a gridsquare.  I try not to
interfere
with anyone except the "rag-chewers", but at the same time, the satellite 
doesn't belong to the first one there, either.  If it's busy and I want
contacts, 
I'll make one or two and then I'm done.  So what if in the process the
satellite 
gets handed off to someone who hasn't had a chance to speak yet because of 
the satellite-hogs.  ;)
