[amsat-bb] Contacting Satellites

Hello All:

 

I am just starting in satellite contact. I can do the FM sats. AO-27, AO-51
and SO-50. But I would like to try more on AO-7 for example What radio do
you use? Like Icom 706, Yaesu 897 or 857?

Also how do you setup for doppler shift for like AO-7? Is it like for FM
where transmit stays the same and receive changes from AOS to LOS?
