[amsat-bb] Question on diode symbole designation

Hi All,

After many attemps to trouble shoot why a new circuit was not 
functioning to me I found a diode IN4006 made by ITT  wrongly
marked reversed i.e. with the white ring printed to the anode side |!

This diode if reversed is perfectly functioning and it is a rare one
good for collections like a wrongly printed postage stamp.

Any similar experience ?
