Low Cost Launchers

The following paragraph caught my eye in an article at

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/6901835.stm

"The [United Kingdom] Ministry of Defence (MOD) has said it is exploring a
dialogue with industry and others on developing a low-cost launcher for small
satellites."

Lets hope something comes of it as the more competition in the launch business
the better as far as Amateurs Radio launch opportunities are concerned.
