I don't have the 1.2 module yet, but the answer is "yes"...  satellite mode 
will auto-track whichever two bands you have selected.  You simply set 1200 
as the main or sub band by first selecting which band position you want it 
in with the MAIN/SUB button, then press and hold the M/S-BAND button for 1 
second to select the operating band (2M/440/1200) for that band position.
