Thanks Allen for the heads up on the Yaesu service problem. Seems they
all have problems at times. I really have had good luck with the
Kewood service center in Virginia Beach. Others might not have had the
same service. They replaced the display in TMV7A under warrenty 3
years after the purchase. I kinda liked that. I have spoken with the
service fellow from down there at Dayton a couple of times and he
seems really nice. I approached the Icom folks at Dayton about the
IC-3230A problem and all I got was "well it is over a year old and out
of warranty". Three trips to Washington state in that year was enough
to get it out I guess. Well that is my dimes worth. Sure hope others
