48" sections of 1/4" 6061 aluminum runs $0.90 a piece; small cut fee and
you're done.
I think 32 feet total are costing me under $24 shipped, a pretty stellar
price.
They have a very very wide selection of metal and great service as well, and
can do custom lengths.
