Hi,

Take a look at http://www.icron.com/products/usb/collateral/USBwp_083004.pdf 
before you think about a 150ft USB cable. This is, of course, a big 
advantage of RS232 / serial solutions.

Maybe you know what you are doing, I post this 'just in case' :-)
