Could you still use the TS-2000 for a bird that did not use VHF or UHF (leaving one of the bands available for control). For example: Could you control the rig on UHF and work a 2 meter up and 10 meter down bird? What about using VHF control for a bird in mode L/u (assuming you have the 2000X).
No, I don't have one but was just trying to think of ways that might work.

When I first posted, I had that in the back of my mind, but quickly realized that it can't work that way, of course, because both VHF and UHF are used in the command link, so there is nothing left to operate the VHF/UHF satellite links.
