Re: RX only satellite?



In the year(s) that the sun cycle is to be on the upswing, how about one
that scans the HF beacons and records signal strength of the various beacons
and satellite location on a daily basis.  Then a year later see if any
propagation events such as storms etc., affected the signals in space by
comparing space wx data with signal reports.  You could just use 28 MHz
NCDXF/IARU beacons

Just an idea.

I like the noise pollution map on a single frequency...as Bob likes 145.825,
that sounds like a good one to me...a timer combined with a signal strength
indicator should provide quality information if the orbit is stable...
