Indeed. It was Startrek 4: The Voyage Home. It was during the scene
after time travelling (cant remember if it was when they went back,
or forward).Some folks thought it was the sound of a ZX Spectrum tape
loading, which IIRC used 1500 baud. It was in-fact AX25.
There was a usenet thread about it at the time that made one of the
"Usenet Historical Events" things, but I can't find it now.
What I didn't know was that, the film also has some HF packet in it
